Grappling Hook
Grappling Hook is a item which was added in update V.1.0 to Green Hell.
The grappling hook allows the player to climb up to high ledges. The player will first need to find the grappling hook in order to use it. After collecting the hook it will hang on the side of the players backpack, the player will not be able to interact with the hook unless they are using it to access one of the climbing locations on the map. The grappling hook is not lost upon death.
When climbing up or down, the player will need to look at the climbing point and press E to start the climbing sequence. A short animation will play followed by a cut scene with the player re-emerging on the other side.

How to Get Cat Fangs in Green Hell
The feline fangs added in the Amazon Spirits update for Green Hell are a good trophy to get in Green Hell. If you want to become a true rainforest master and prove that you are the ultimate predator, you will need to display your most significant trophies. At the time of this writing, these items could only be used in Spirits of Amazonia game mode. Here's how to get cat fangs in Green Hell.
Cat fangs in Green Hell can be obtained by collecting them from dead jaguars or cougars. Of course, interacting with either of these animals can get you killed if you are not prepared. Both cats will become very aggressive if you get too close, so be careful when you see or hear them.
The best way to defeat a jaguar or cougar is to throw a spear at their head. Bows and arrows are probably your best additional weapons if you don't have a spear. You can also use melee weapons for close-quarters combat, but we recommend not approaching any of the animals.
After you collect cat fangs, empty mold and molten iron ore, make a mold for cat fangs. Place this mold in the forge to bake it and get metal cat fangs. Note that you will need to read all the legendary artisan stories before you can do this.
Where to Find the Hook in Green Hell
While Green Hell definitely doesn't hit players trapped deep in the Amazon rainforest, there are items that can help . The Hook is one such item that players can stumble upon, though admittedly its use is limited.
The Cat Hook can be found both in survival mode and in the story in an area called the Upside Down Jeep, located near (16, 44) in a ravine near a felled tree. The hook, along with several random prey items, can be found near the body of the jeep.
The existence of the hook, unfortunately, does not mitigate the seemingly consistent elevation changes on the map. Instead, it can only be used at certain points made for the tool in which the cat scene is played out. The cat hook survives with the player through rebirth in the event of death.
Other players will not be able to manually select the Hook (which appears on a backpack strap) from their inventory, but instead will be prompted when it can be used. Nevertheless, the Grapple Hook is a useful item that effectively opens up much of the map for players. There is nothing worse than realizing that you have to go back and find the previous place to continue exploring.

25. Omega (25W 33S).. Here you will find the third Area Map.
Visiting this location and doing the following is optional, but important for a good ending:
- There will be 2 tents here, one with beds, the other (closed with a latch) is a lab.
- Go into the lab, take a contaminated blood sample from the fridge and place it in the machine.
- Prepare 2 tobacco bandages in advance, as the character will be poisoned in the next action.
- Take a live poisonous frog (Tree Frog) with your hand.
- Bandage your hand 2 times with a tobacco bandage to relieve the fever – sleep in the tent.
- Go back to the lab tent, place a live frog in the blood sample. Wait a little while and take from this machine the vial with the medicine that resulted.
26. A-1 (32W 33S).. For the third time, prepare an Ayahuasca drink.. After the Ayahuasca has run out, Pick up the Cat Hook Thrower from the ground..
*From the entrance to the lab tent, turn east (E) and swim straight to the next medium-sized island (you'll cross a very small island on the way).
27. Cave enclosed by a rock (25W 31S). The Cat Hook Thrower is there, but you have to drink Ayuausaka to get inside.
28. A place to climb (27W 31S) .. A place where you can climb up, but you need the Hook-Cat Thrower to do so.
*After leaving the cave (25W 31S), turn West (W) and run straight up.
29. Main Character's Camp (28W 34S). Did not find anything there at all that can be taken or used, probably for the story to visit it is not necessary.
*After 2 climbs (27W 31S), run a little straight ahead (until you can turn around), turn left and straight ahead. There will be a descent (28W 33S). After the descent, run straight down the path.

Where to Find the Hook in Green Hell
In Green Hell story mode, you will find the hook in the location Illegal Goldfields.. To get there, walk north on a dirt road until you come across an overturned jeep .. Gather resources there and, most importantly, take the a red fuel canister.. This will be important later.
Head east from the jeep until you meet the platform on the rock. There is an electric elevator there, but you need to fuel the generator that powers it. This is where the fuel you can pick up comes in. Use it and then run the elevator to get down to the mining site. The campground has a bench with a hook on it.
Where to Find the Hook in Green Hell
To find the hook, you need the first map. Open it at the coordinates 016 latitude and 040 longitude and find the Gold Mine. In this mine at coordinates 015 longitude and 040 longitude you can find the cat hook. Be sure to find the old car at 016 latitude and 044 longitude before you go into the mine. There will be fuel nearby, you will need it. Then get to the elevator (coordinates 017 latitude and 040 longitude) there you will need to use the fuel to get down to the Gold Mine. When you find it, the hook will hang on the side of your backpack.
